Thanks to (in no order and take a breath!) Kylie, Claudia, Carolyn, Nik, Dana, Leesa, Shae, Michelle, Duane, Micheal, Molly, Jemma, Susan, Cheryl and Jo for your support and friendship and look forward to more good times together.

FEBRUARY 2012
Bernation Journey to Swisskiss enjoying the snow in Canada
The big month of February has come and gone with some great news coming through about health, showing and general chit chat. For a round up we will start with the show stuff and then head in to the all important hip and elbow results.
Carolyn and Rory (Bernemcourt Born to Run Imp Nth Ireland)
Great win for Rory at the Sunshine Kennel Club on the 18th of Feb where he picked up Best of Breed followed by an outstanding Minor Puppy in Show. He also picked up a Challenge Dog at Bendigo and a Challenge Dog at KCC to round off the month taking him a long way towards his title.
Flick and the Kids
Haven't been showing a lot of the gang but when we have the results have been very pleasing. Juneau has been picking up some great BOB and Challenge results the past few weeks coming back to her normal self after her previous litter. Very pleased with how she is performing and how she looks as she bounds around the ring. Duchess is developing into a nice girl and with time and age looking forward to some big things coming her way. The others have been enjoying a bit of a hiatus after gaining their titles and have earned the rest and enjoying romping around the farm driving Thomas to a giggling mess.
Journey and the Canadian Connection
Journey has been going great in Canada and is nearing his title in conformation. Bigger news is that he is now a dad having a single puppy for Madeline and Geoff at Swisskiss. Seen the photos, love the girl and hope she is all that they want in a Bernese. Congratulations to all and big hugs to Journey.
Kylie and the Gang
Kylie has been out and about with Jackson and Ruby. Jackson picked up a puppy in group and has been adding to his points along with Ruby picking up BOB at a recent show. Well done to Kylie and great to see the next generation developing so well under her care.

Duane, Michelle and Paris
Not much on the show scene down there but big results in the hip and elbow department. Paris came back with 0,0 elbows and 0,1 hips continuing the great results in the health department. Very, very happy for Duane and Michelle and very proud of Paris.
Well done and thanks goes to Dana, Claudia and Nikki for the month with some great presentations and prep and for your support and help. Without the assistance of all involved it would not be as enjoyable, social or exciting as it is in all your company. Well done to all and we look forward to seeing you all in the coming months.
NOVEMBER, DECEMBER 2011 AND JANUARY 2012

Jackson, not to be outdone, has picked up his own swag of points to almost reach his title at only 10 months of age. Add to that some Age in Group wins and this trio is doing a magnificent job. Well done Kylie and be popping corks soon when the big fella gets the official nod.

FLICK AND THE KIDS
Juneau has come back in the ring and picked up a few good Challenge wins in some good shows at KCC park. Coming back from having babies was going to take a while but great to see her in the form and showing her kids how it is done. Solo has also been having a good go winning a few very good Best of Breed and Challenges leading to her recent Australian Championship. With Dutchess adding some points to her collection to take her on the way to her title, it all looks pretty healthy on the show front.

Two more hip and elbow scores, two very happy owners and one very happy breeder!!

To all those involved in the Friday preparation (and there was alot of you out there) thanks for making a big day very enjoyable. Now to the show results.....
We had a great day with some great friends against some of the best Bernese Australia has to offer. Juneau again came to the fore with a Reserve Bitch Challenge (2nd overall in the bitches) and Best Opposite Ausbred. We love her, she is awesome and we are very proud of her results over the short years that she has been showing. She has had two Reserve Bitch Challenges at the Specialties and continues to improve with age.
Le Beau Chien picked up Best Baby Puppy Bitch for Michelle in a big class and was very impressive in her handling and presentation. Great hope for the next generation in this one!!
Bernation Touch of Sparkle (Shima) continues to improve and show great promise with a Best Bitch Puppy for Nikki making Sabi and Raj very proud parents!!
For the boys, Lenny finished second in his class for Shae and again shows great promise after only a couple of shows. Sir Hudson picked up third in his class with Leesa and is developing into a fine young man. Luka picked up second in his class for Dana to round off the boys.
For the girls, Bernation Serafina picked up second in her class and Kassie was beautifully handled and presented by Claudia. There are plenty of good days to come guys and we love having you there with us. Touch of Tuscany got it over her sister Oh So Classy (Rush) and best friend Solo this year with a third in her class with Dana. Well done Dana and a great result for a beautiful girl. Solo and Rush were beautifully behaved but didn't catch the judges eye this year but show great promise and continue to improve. Chile was a big surprise picking up 5th in her big class in her first and probably only appearance in the ring. Big kudos to Pete for his work with her and was well worth the effort to get her to the show and get some great independent feedback on her. We just need to teach her to cook heh Pete?!

ALL THAT SHIMMERS IN THIS WORLD
Wow, what a weekend for Nikki SMITH and Shima up at Shepparton. Travelling north up the highway little did this pair know that they would not be returning until the sun was setting in the West. Best Baby Puppy in Show at Shep was the highlight of the weekend. Described as having the best balance of a baby puppy the judge had seen, Nik and Shima pulled one out to take the In Show Title. Wow, says Flick and Andy and continue to rave about Niks' handling and training of this little girl. Thats a Best Baby in Show, two Best Baby in Group and second at the Royal for this couple and we continue to be impressed and send our appreciation and accolades to Nik and Shima. Photos to come.....
HOT CHILE WOMAN
So cool, so calm but hot under the collar is the PJ Collins version of "Hot Chile Woman" who has danced her way to a score of 1,0 hips and 0,0 elbows. Another of Cleos' daughters who has scored up and done the right thing by Pete. "Sure, it was hard to keep up with Pete" Chile says "and his active lifestyle, but when he built that pergola and paved the backyard in my honour then I reckon I had to pull this one out of the hat to impress him." Pete and Chile are now off to obedience on the Bellarine Peninsula and we look forward to more exciting scores coming through from the Cleo / Eiger mating.

Big boned and big hearted Benson has brought a smile to Rachele, Dion and the kids (including Max) faces when he brought back a score of 2 on his hips and 0 on his elbows. "You look after yourself, then you get the rewards" says Benson. "My body is a temple and the workouts in the gym and time spent in the sandpit have paid off." Great results for his mum, so proud after scoring a 0 all round herself and we remind all those with Sharni / Monti pups that it is time to score up so the parents can brag, on top of Hudsons 0 all round and Ronnie a 2 hips and 0 elbows.
